“And
he was transfigured before them, and his face shone like the sun…” What Jesus reveals to the three
disciples is who he really is. Who he
shows himself to be both before and after this episode are also who really is. We cannot separate the transfigured Jesus from
the un-transfigured Jesus, just as we cannot separate the Jesus before the
Resurrection from the Jesus after.
Welcome!
Everyone is
invited to stay for fellowship after the service.
We pray today for all
the sick in our congregation, especially Colin & Elfriede Hayes, Else
Kalmbach and her son, Nancy Mayberry, Hilda Moritz, George & Astrid Simonis
and John Weninger. May God grant all of
them His healing grace in Jesus Christ.
Amen.
