Thoughts for Maundy Thursday ----- 9 April 2020

We are in Holy Week and we are in partial lock-down. This is a very unusual situation to say the least.

First, I want to invite you all to join me for another internet service of worship on Good Friday at 11:00am.  Here is the link:

IF THAT DOESN'T WORK, try this:
  • Go to YouTube.com on your computer
  • Once there, type "St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church Aylmer" in the search bar (It has a little magnifying glass at the end of the box) then hit enter.
  • You'll see a big "Luther Rose" and the name of the church... Click on that.
  • Then you'll see a few videos. Go to the Good Friday one and click on it.
  • Watch it. Pray with it as you can.
  • You can go back to it later if you'd like since YouTube saves the finished video .
There will be another video for Easter Sunday and I'll send the link later.

Now some things to think about and maybe buoy you up.

Dawn comes everyday... even above the clouds.

God is active in the work of first responders,
health care workers, and people who cooperate with them.

Things are not as they were... nor are they as they will be!
Jesus our healer, have mercy on us! Come to our aid, O Divine Physician!
